Dubsy Video Translator

Setup and support

Translate a video with Dubsy

Use the desktop Google Drive™ web app and the Google account on which you installed Dubsy Video Translator. Your organization may require administrator approval.

Get access

The initial release is being prepared for Marketplace review. Contact support@innovaapps.ai for access information. A public install link will be added here when the listing is available. New accounts receive a one-time allowance of 60 seconds. One-time credit packs are available in Credits & help.

Your first translation

  1. Open Google Drive™ on a desktop browser and open the Dubsy Video Translator sidebar. Home shows your balance and recent translations. To find your account reference, open Credits & help and expand Account reference.
  2. Select exactly one MP4 video. Choose Allow access if requested. Dubsy checks metadata through the permission you grant.
  3. Review the video length and credit estimate. Choose the Source language, or Auto-detect, and a different Target language.
  4. Choose Review translation, confirm the direction, then choose Start translation. Your video is sent to our Google Cloud™ backend and Microsoft Azure for processing. Do not submit content you are not permitted to process, including speakers' voices.
  5. Even short videos can take several minutes. Use Refresh to check progress, or return to Home later. Closing the sidebar does not cancel an accepted translation.
  6. When the translation is ready, choose Save to Drive. Refresh while the save runs. Open in Drive opens the result in the Dubsy translations folder.

Credits and limits

One credit second covers one second of source-video duration, rounded up to a whole second for the job. Each new account receives 60 seconds once, not every month. The estimate is based on available video metadata. Credits are reserved when a job is accepted, charged when translation starts, and restored once if a charged translation fails. A failed import does not charge translation credits. A save failure after a successful translation can be retried; it is not a new translation.

This add-on's balance is separate from iPhone purchases. To buy more time, open Credits & help from Home, choose a pack and complete Stripe checkout. Each pack shows its duration, price and currency. Purchases are one-time, with no automatic renewal. Return to Credits & help to see the confirmed result and refreshed balance. If payment is still processing, choose Check payment.

Select one MP4 per translation. Up to three translations can run concurrently. The source must have duration metadata available. Download restrictions and organization policies still apply. Mobile apps, folder batches and other file formats are not supported by this add-on release.

Payment help

Credits appear after Stripe confirms payment. If payment is still processing, check again later. If you leave checkout before paying and it is still open, use Continue payment to resume. Closing the tab or returning to Dubsy does not itself cancel a payment or prove that it succeeded.

If you paid but the balance has not updated, or the sidebar asks you to contact support, send your account reference and the approximate payment time to support@innovaapps.ai. Do not make another payment to resolve a missing-credit problem. Support also handles cash-refund requests. A refund or dispute may pause new purchases and translations during review; accepted translations can continue. Never email card details, passwords or tokens.
